What You Need

Ingredients

4 fish fillets
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp rice flour
1 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp salt
8 to 10 curry leaves
1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Pat the fish fillets completely dry using a kitchen towel.

2. In a bowl, combine ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, black pepper, rice flour, corn flour, oil and salt.

3. Mix well to form a thick masala marinade.

4. Coat each fish fillet evenly with the marinade.

5. Cover and marinate for at least 20–30 minutes.

6. Preheat the Domestica Air Fryer Oven to 200°C for 2–3 minutes.

7. Lightly grease the cooking tray and arrange the fish fillets in a single layer.

8. Air fry at 200°C for 12–15 minutes.

9. Carefully turn the fish halfway through cooking for even browning.

10. Add curry leaves during the final few minutes for extra aroma and flavour.

11. Continue cooking until the fish is golden on the outside and fully cooked through.

12. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with lemon wedges.

Cooking Tips

Pat the fish completely dry before marinating for a better coating.

Do not overcrowd the cooking tray.

Use fish fillets of similar thickness for even cooking.

Turn the fish carefully halfway through cooking.
